We’ve been developing our reputation as builders for 145 years and we are incredibly proud of our highly skilled direct workforce, all of whom come from within a 10-mile radius of our Rugeley base. Alongside our direct workforce, we have a wide sub-contract network who are all highly skilled in their own disciplines and have extensive Health & Safety training.
For over a decade, G Evans has been awarded successive strategic framework partnering contracts with Staffordshire County Council. These have been awarded on quality, price, ability to resource, and overall best value. We also work closely with Cannock Chase District Council, the NHS and Drayton Manor Resort as well as a range of Staffordshire-based public sector, commercial and private clients.

Our directors still take an active personal interest in the quality of our craftsmanship and our clients’ satisfaction, and they are always directly available to our clients.
As a Principal Contractor, our customers trust us to project manage site works, ensuring that everything runs smoothly, to time and within budget. We also monitor the Health and Safety aspects of projects. Everyone wants to work in a safe environment, as the Principal Contractor, we monitor, manage and coordinate operations to make sure that all health and safety legislation is met.
We hold accreditations in the Constructors Health & Safety Scheme (CHAS), Constructionline Level Gold, Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP), ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
Our building services range from bespoke joinery, bricklaying, carpentry, decorating, mechanical and electrical services, to new civil engineering works construction, refurbishment, fire safety works, maintenance, and management.
